Tennis enthusiasts at Fairhaven Retirement Community in
Sykesville, Maryland recently formed a senior mixed doubles team.

Norm Meekins, the oldest member, at age 94, says he didn't start
to play tennis until his 60th birthday. Norm and his teammates play mixed
doubles at Piney Run Park, Eldersburg, in the summertime and the Carroll
Racquet Club, Finksburg, from September through May. Other members of the team
include Ann Byrne, the youngest at age 70, Don and Helen Riley and Merrill
Weisel.

The Fairhaven Team hopes to schedule a senior
tennis match with residents of Carroll Lutheran Village, Westminster, this fall.
