The Freedom Area Recreation Council, in conjunction with The Carroll County Rec. and Parks presents a March for Parks Event to raise funds for the new trail in the Sykesville/Eldersburg area.

There will be a 5K and a 1.5 mile Family Fun Run on Sunday, March 24 at Freedom Park, 100 Raincliffe Rd., Pavilion #2.

The 5K will begin at 8 a.m. and costs $20 (includes t-shirt). Registration and packet pickup from 7-7:45 a.m.

The 1.5 mile Family Fun Run starts at 9 a.m. and costs $10. Registration and packet pickup from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m.
