Local Teen Is Chosen To Play For One Of The East Coast's Top 18U Gold Softball Teams
Dedication, sacrifice and commitment pays off as Lexi Jones of Eldersburg and a Freshman at Liberty High School was 1 of 4 athletes chosen to play for one of the East Coast's top 18U Gold softball teams, The New Jersey Inferno. "I've play this game since the age of 4. My dream of playing at a higher level is what had kept me motivated to work harder. The Inferno will provide me with the tools I need to achieve my goal to play for a D1 college. Their expertise, their commitment and their belief in me will help to prepare me for the next level." Lexi is hoping to have the opportunity to help fellow Inferno teammate, Mackenzie Thompson, also an Eldersburg resident and a senior at Liberty High School, along with the rest of the Lady Lions, win back to back State Championships.
