A New Look for Carroll County Public Schools
The new school system logo was unveiled at Wednesday evening's Board of Education meeting.
Members of the Board of Education and Superintendent Steve Guthrie presented the new school system logo at Wednesday evening's board meeting.
The concept for the new logo was developed by Beth Sheedy, a 2012 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School.
According to a news release, her submission in a 2011 student art contest best represented the school system's new core statement: Carroll County Public Schools – Building the Future.
The logo being retired, referred to as the "schoolhouse" logo, was created 30 years ago by Cathy Frock, who was a Career and Technology student at the time.
Both artists were present at the unveiling of the new logo.

Did you'll ever followup on the bus driver ID issue? Why all surrounding Counties can manage it but Carroll County can't.

Do we just have too much money laying around? We must if we are going to relabel everything from letterhead to the school system vehicles for no good reason. What is wrong with tradition?

I still would like to know when teacher assignments are going to come out. School starts in 2 1/2 weeks and we were just notified TODAY of the times for the Open House. Makes it very hard for working parents who need to schedule their lives. Still nothing on the teacher. There is NO reason it should be taking this long.
