It's time to get decked out in your best pink gear and walk a few miles to support our neighbors who are dealing with breast cancer.

The second annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Mount Airy, a three-mile fun walk, will be held Sunday, Oct. 21 at Watkins Park, 615 Center St. in Mount Airy. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m.

Funds from this event will support breast cancer research, information and services, and access to mammograms for women who need them.
