Don't wait until March 17 to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, start this weekend with Barleyjuice in Sykesville.

Named the top Celtic Rock Band by the Irish Music Assocation, Barleyjuice will be playing at the Sykesville Fire Department's Legacy Hall, 6680 Sykesville Rd., on Saturday, March 2 from 7 to 11 p.m..

Tickets are $25 each and include admission to the event and food (corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash and other munchies). There will also be a cash bar featuring Guiness, draft beer, wine and liquor.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sykesville-Freedom and West Friendship Volunteer Fire Departments.
