Did You Know It’s Celebrate Shelter Pets Day?
The Shelter Pet Project wants you to post your story on Facebook.
Do you have a favorite memory from a pet shelter? Did you find your furry friend at a local shelter? The Shelter Pet Project, a joint venture between The Humane Society of the United States, Maddie's Fund and The Ad Council, wants you to share your story on Facebook.
To take part in the first ever Celebrate Shelter Pets Day, the organization asks users to post their favorite memories of how they met and fell in love with their shelter pet.
You can share a photo, link to a blog post or website about your pet or send a tweet to your followers. When you submit your status make sure you tag "The Shelter Pet Project" in your post.
