Incumbent Jennifer Seidel and former public schools employee Jim Doolan have won the Carroll County Board of Education race.
Four candidates were vying for two seats on the Board of Education. With all 35 precincts reporting just after 11 p.m., the Maryland Board of Elections reports that Seidel got 29.5 percent of votes and Doolan ended up with 27.1 percent of the votes.
Ginger DiMaggio and incumbent Cynthia Foley were within three percentage points of eachother, DiMaggio with 22.9 percent and Foley with 20 percent of the votes.
