Eldersburg and Sykesville Today: Feb. 28

1. Regional Basketball

The South Carroll High School Varsity Boys Baketball team is hosting regionals vs Winters Mill High School tonight at 7 p.m. Find more information here

2. Commissioner Forum on Solid Waste

The Board of County Commissioners is holding an open session forum in Building K, Room 100 at the Carroll Community College. The forum will present imformation to the Board of County Commissioners and the public concerning the County's waste disposal needs. Find more information on the meeting and agenda here

3. Teen Advisory Meeting

The Eldersburg Library is holding a Teen Advisory Meeting for participants to share ideas, favorite books, movies, as well as helping with various projects. The program is open to ages 12 - 17 and service learning hours will be awarded. The meeting will include planning a duct tape program. 

4. Read and Play

The Eldersburg Library is holding a read and play storytime at 9:45 a.m.for ages birth-24 months, featuring stories, rhymes, and bounces followed by a playgroup meeting. Find more information on the program here

5. Today's Forecast

The National Weather Service calls for sunny skies with a high near 52 degrees this afternoon, changing to a 40 percent chance of rain with a low of around 35 degrees this evening.
