1. Board of Commissioners Open Meeting

The Carroll County Board of Commissioners is holding an open session meeting in Room 311 of the County Office Building today at 10 a.m. The agenda includes:

  • Public Comment
  • Public Hearing for Proposed Amendments to Chapter 71
  • Deliberation/Adoption of the Proposed  Amendments to Chapter 71
  • Bid Approval - Design Services for Public Safety, Training Center Renovation
  • Bid Approval - Fire Suppression Water Storage Tank Project - Uniontown Road
  • Approval of Streamlined Annual Plan FY2012 for Carroll County Bureau of Housing to be displayed for Public Comment

3. "Brain Thaw" - Evening Networking Meeting

Cre-a-tv is hosting a networking event tonight at 5 p.m. in Eldersburg sponsored by Tier One Technology Partners. Tickets are $25 per member and $30 per non-member on February 9th and at the door. Find more information on the event here. 

4. Library Storytime

The Westminster Library is holding a theme-based storytime for ages 2-3 featuring stories, songs, fingerplays and activities at 10 a.m. today. 

5. Today's Forecast

The National Weather Service calls for sunny skies with a high near 43 degrees this afternoon, changing to mostly clear skies this evening with a low of around 24 degrees.
