I think we need a movie theater, a diner, a computer/electronics store (like Best Buy), walking trails or at least sidewalks, an office supply store (Staples or Office Depot/Max). What we don't need is more gas stations, pizza places, Chinese restaurants, and liquor stores.

We need to begin the Gillis Falls (Mt. Airy) reservoir as well as a local power generation plant to provide economies of scale to Eldersburg for energy independence . Both water and energy will not be as readily affordable as we live today in the future ....

This forward thinking will ensure Eldersburg is part of the future ....Currently our gov. O'Malley is fully on board with agenda 21 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzEEgtOFFlM) His plan Maryland will gradually escalate the cost of home ownership in Carroll County.

With cheap water and energy Eldersburg will provide jobs and a great bedroom community for many years to come........forward thinking ....

It would be nice to have the walking trails, park setting athletic fields we were promised several years ago known as Krimgold Park. Oh and a movie theatre.

We need a place for our older kids to go, like the Ugly Mug. It is a GREAT concept, but it still needs lots of help to finish. In the past few years we have lost our indoor soccer field, kids party places (Fun Quarters & Gym Jam), bowling alley, mini golf and movie theatre and we need them back! How about turning that eye-sore of a mall into a big indoor activity center!!

Eldersburg needs to incorporate, become the 9th city in this county. Stop letting Westminster decide what is good for this area!!!
