Extreme Fun & Fit Bootcamp Comes to Eldersburg

A new fitness program in Eldersburg is looking to bring fun and fitness together in a hardcore workout program. 

Extreme Fun & Fit Bootcamp, owned and operated by Mac Cassity, is housed in the  at 1332 Londontown Blvd. in Eldersburg. The program is a monthly membership based bootcamp offered between 5:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. Monday through Friday. 

The workouts are a mixture of bodyweight exercises combined with some fitness band and medicine ball drills designed to lose fat and build muscle. 

"Nothing beats a killer group workout," said Extreme Fun & Fit owner Mac Cassity.

"At any time, you may be slapping fives with your partner while doing pushups, or passing a medicine ball back and forth to another while shuffling down the field, or being cheered on by someone else to finish the rest of a set. These workouts are about each of us reaching our best, and helping each other to get there at the same time."

No specific starting level of fitness is required, but the workouts are designed to increase in intensity. Each lasts a little less than one hour including warm-up and cool down and all equipment is provided. Participants must be at least 18 years old.

"We could not be any happier to be located in the JACT Sports Complex. This place is amazing," Cassity said. "As we grow, we will be adding childcare as well as my goal is to make this bootcamp as inviting to the people of Carroll County as possible and help as many folks as we can get into shape, and have fun doing it."
