Too late for publication but today my son and I, at the invite of one of my granddaughters, enjoyed a Veterans Day breakfast at North Carroll High School. In addition to a very tasty meal (food donated by local merchants and prepared by the staff at North Carroll), we were feted at a extremly nice program in the auditorium. When the Vets entered the auditorium we were greeted by a "full" house of standing applauding students and staff. I can't begin to discribe my emotions at that moment. I have never seen such a thoughtful and moving program. For anyone who thinks the next generation is going to hell in a hand basket, they have another "think" coming.
Thanks very much to the students, taechers, and staff of North Carroll High School for a most memorable morning.
