UPDATE: Rain Delays County's Regional Softball, Baseball Finals
Soggy fields and a constant drizzle forced officials to reschedule varsity softball and baseball regional championship games to Tuesday. Some softball games have been further delayed.
Liberty fans used their umbrellas to stay dry as the teams played in a shower.

(UPDATED, 2 p.m., Wed., 5/15) -- Regional finals in baseball and softball were postponed throughout Carroll County due to rain Monday, and some games rescheduled for Tuesday have been further postponed to Wednesday.
The following is a list of rescheduled games, according to the Carroll County Monocacy Valley athletic league's website.
Softball Varsity Regional Championships
TUESDAY
- Poolesville Sr. High vs. Liberty High: 4:30 p.m. at Liberty High.
WEDNESDAY
- Century High vs. South Carroll High: 4:30 p.m. at South Carroll High.
Baseball Varsity Regional Championships
TUESDAY
- Century High vs. Walkersville High: 4:30 p.m. at Walkersville High.
- Williamsport High vs. Liberty High: 4:30 p.m. at Liberty High.
WEDNESDAY
- South Carroll High vs. Poolesville Sr. High: 4 p.m. at Poolesville Sr High.
- James Hubert Blake High vs. Westminster High: 5 p.m. at Westminster High.
