1. Mount Airy Santa Open House
The Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Santa Open House and the 7th Annual Holiday Train Garden today from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature fire safety information and an opportunity to look over fire and rescue apparatus. The Train Garden is located on the lower level of the fire Station.
2. Free Harp Concert in Sykesville
Classical harpist Laura Stokes performs at Springfield Presbyterian Church in Sykesville at 3 p.m. this afternoon. There will be food avaiable after the concert. Find more information here.
3. Last Day for "Old World Country Christmas" at the Farm Museum
Celebrate the Holiday Season at the Carroll County Farm Museum by enjoying an "Old World Country Christmas" with tours of the 19th Century Farmhouse complete with the sounds of the season. Today is the last day for the event with doors open from noon to 5 p.m. Find more information here.
4. Carroll County Dance Center Presents "The Nutcracker"
The Carroll County Dance Center is hosting a performance of "The Nutcracker" featuring guest artists from the American Ballet Theatre in the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier. Their last show of the season starts at 2 p.m. this afternoon and more information can be found here.
