Showers are predicted for Monday through Thursday this week, according to the extended forecast.
The Capital Weather Gang blog on the Washington Post says all the rain may not be so bad, and might make a dent in the rainfall deficit thus far in the spring in the region.
We may not see a lot of sun until Friday, the forecast says.
