Starbucks Drive-Thru Now Open in Eldersburg

The brand new coffee shop is now up and running in the former K Bank location.

Local residents now have a new place to get energized in the morning.

Starbucks recently opened its doors in the former K Bank location at 1438 Liberty Road in Eldersburg.

The new location offers a drive-thru, utilizing the overhang used by the former bank.

Starbucks is open Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The announcement of the new coffee shop brought local residents flocking to the comment section on Patch back in January.

"A nice place to just meet up with someone or sit and read the paper. About time Eldersburg," said local resident Christie Ann.

Stopped by there on Saturday night for a coffee. I think this location should do well. Very nicely done. One thing they're going to have to fix in the parking though. There is black asphalt curbing that runs down along the front of the building that seperates the parking area. This needs to be painted white or with a reflective paint. I almost ran over it. Before I could get out of my car I witnessed a small car run over it. It's quite noticable that several cars had run over it.
