Careful on the roads this morning, Carroll County is under a winter weather advisory until noon Monday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS), with sleet, freezing rain and even a little snow possible.

NWS cautions untreated roads, bridges and sidewalks will be particularly susceptible to icing -- especially during this morning's commute.

Hang in there, though – spring-like temperatures are in the forecast, too. 

Monday, temperatures are set to reach about 50 degrees by midday, but before that, we could see a wintry mix. By 1 p.m., any precipitation we see will be rain, according to NWS. 

Monday night, temperatures will drop to the high-30s, with a 30 percent chance of rain.

Tuesday’s high will be in the mid-50s with a 20 percent chance of rain. Temperatures will drop to the high-40s at night with a slight chance of rain.

Rain is likely Wednesday, with a possible thunderstorm in the afternoon. Temperatures should reach about 60 degrees, dropping to the mid-30s at night.

Skies should be partly sunny Thursday with temperatures in the high-30s, dropping to the low-20s at night.

Friday will be partly sunny with temperatures in the mid-30s and a 30 percent chance of precipitation. At night, temperatures will drop to the high-teens.
