In case you don't follow D3 sports, Sunday was "selection Sunday," where the NCAA selects who's in and who's out of men's lacrosse. Also, in case you were not following, McDaniel was one of many schools considered to be in the running for an at large bid also known as bubble teams. However, Selection Sunday came and went with McDaniel not being selected to the big dance.
Instead the NCAA picked Connecticut College, a school ranked lower in every measurement used by the NCAA when selecting a school for the tournament.

I think this may be due to there being a bias to New England and New England Schools, that they have more prestige than schools such a McDaniel.
