More Snow! Carroll County Under Winter Weather Advisory

The morning commute may be snow-filled.

Carroll County is supposed to get more snow on Wednesday, and the morning commute may be slippery.

The National Weather Service placed Carroll and several surrounding counties under a winter weather advisory from 1 a.m. to noon Wednesday.

A winter weather advisory means that snow will cause travel difficulties like snow-covered roads and limited visibilities. Untreated roads may be slick, the weather service said.

Between 2 and 4 a.m., snow will begin to fall, with one to three inches accumulating, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures in Carroll County will be below freezing, with a high of 30 degrees and a low of 11 in the evening, according to the forecast.

Other counties under the advisory include Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George's and St. Mary's.
