Soon after he went missing, pictures of missing puppy, Thor, were posted on Lutherville-Timonium Patch last week.

Thor is a 3-month-old white pit bull puppy whose nose is speckled and ears fold over. And that's not the only thing distinctive about his ears—Thor is also deaf.

His owner arrived home at his Padonia Road apartment last Thursday to find that the TV, laptop and Thor, along with his leash, had been stolen, according to ABC 2 News, which reported owner Mike Lenhart and his girlfriend recently adopted the puppy for Valentine's Day.

"There's nothing else we want in life than to have this little guy come back home to us," Lenhart told ABC 2 News.

Anyone with information about Thor may contact Ethoma17@students.towson.edu.

So sad about this little puppy, he is so cute. Also the fact that he is deaf, which the person or people who took him may not know. I hope he will be returned soon, safe and sound.

Unfortunately, these pet parents may never be reunited with adorable Thor unless they post a cash reward (sadly, a reality). A dog recently stolen in DC was found thanks to a good samaritan...and a monetary reward as incentive. The pet parents should also post flyers of Thor – noting a cash reward that leads to his recovery – all over their neighborhood, surrounding areas, and in windows of local businesses who will allow it. They need to cast a very wide net, so to speak. I hope that they checked Craigslist as soon as they discovered Thor was taken since it seems thieves utilize that venue to quickly turn over stolen pets for profit. And, I sincerely hope that this sweet little pup finds his way back to his loving home soon and not into the hands of degenerates who abuse Pit Bulls.
