Liberty High School Performs "War Letters"

Members of Liberty High School’s Thespian Society, the honors society for drama, will perform J. Robert Wilkins’ play War Letters at Liberty High School on January 12, 13, and 14, at 7 p.m. A matinee show will also be held at Liberty on Saturday, January 14, at 2 p.m. Tickets for the LHS performances are $5 in advance, or $7 at the door, and are available through the LHS online box office at www.lhsdramaclub.com.

A discription of the play from Liberty High School:

In War Letters, a man named Jack is off on a peacekeeping mission overseas. The women he leaves at home – his wife, mother and daughter – must deal with separation during his six-month absence privately. The only connection with the man they love is via letters. This drama powerfully depicts not only the sacrifices made by soldiers but also by their families.  Whether for content or performance, you will be moved by this stirring play.
