MILKSHAKE ~ Special Trio Performance
The SPEECH PATHways Foundation will mix things up at this May 20 FUNdraiser with a special trio performance by members of the Grammy-nominated kids’ band Milkshake (www.milkshakemusic.com) at the Carroll Arts Center.
Kids from tiny to 10 will enjoy rockin’ out with their parents to Lisa Mathews, Mikel Gehl, and Michael Sheppard of the Milkshake Band in an up-close performance on the Carroll Arts stage. The diverse singer/songwriters are well-known among PBS Kids and Discovery Kids fans for their mission to shake out “great rock music for kids” Parents can’t help but rock along.

Westminster’s own Starry Night Bakery — of Cupcake Wars fame — will cater to the crowd by selling specially decorated cupcakes. Tickets are just $12 for Adults and $7 for Kids. Doors open 1:30 pm at the Carroll Arts Center.

All proceeds for this family-friendly concert will benefit the SPEECH PATHways Foundation, an established local nonprofit foundation that seeks to improve the lives of children who have communication disorders through grants/scholarships, parent and professional education, and support to the Carroll County community and surrounding areas.
