The first course is half of a crab pretzel. The entrée is a choice of a single crab cake dinner or ¾ pound of jumbo steamed shrimp with a baked potato and steamed vegetable medley. The last course was strawberry shortcake.

For restaurant week, Salerno’s offered a three-course meal for $20.11.

Salerno’s is the last stop for Patch as we visited the seven restaurants taking part in the first Carroll County Restaurant Week. The week ended Aug. 28.

For this stop at local restaurants, I took my fiancée, Shirley Snyder and her family. We enjoyed a variety of items from the menu including the fried pickles.

"We just put up all these TV’s. There are TVs everywhere, so we are gearing up for football season. We have them on the deck, and we are in the process of renovating the dining room. We have new furniture as well. We have done all kinds of renovations in the past year,"  said Birmingham.

Salerno’s offers catering on and off site. "We have a catering hall next door that seats 80 people," Birmingham said.

Salerno’s offers weekly specials and coupons on their website here.
