Carroll Technology Council Gets a New Look

The Carroll Technology Council launched a new website in 2012.

The Carroll Technology Council is jumping into 2012 with a fresh new look. The organization has redesigned its website, adding new features and easy navigation.

According to the website, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce conceived the idea for the organization in 2001. Chamber leaders saw a need to help businesses and the community with technology needs.

The Carroll Technology Council became an independent non-profit organization in January, 2004 according to the website.

One unique feature of this organization is that it offers programs and seminars to businesses as well as community members. The Carroll Technology Council offers a speaker series, networking events, seminars and a program to get donated computer equipment in the hands of children and adults who might not otherwise have access to technology.
