Chick-Fil-A: 225 Lined Up In Eldersburg For Free Chicken

The Eldersburg Chick-fil-A opened its doors on Thursday.

More than double the "First 100" showed up in a line at Chick-fil-A's newest restaurant Wednesday, hoping to capture the promised year of free food from the fast food chain.

The Eldersburg location, situated at 6032 Sykesville Rd., opened Thursday, and 225 people were lined up on Wednesday for the give-away—which allots one meal per week for 52 weeks to the first 100 people in line.

A drawing was held, and 100 participants were selected. They camped out on-site for 24 hours before receiving their 52 combo meal cards.
