Report: Northrop Grumman to Cut 800 Jobs Including Sykesville Location

Most of the cuts are in Maryland, according to a report by the Baltimore Business Journal.

Northrop Grumman, a government defense contractor, plans to cut more than 800 jobs across the United States with most occuring in Maryland, according to an article by the Baltimore Business Journal.

The locations within Maryland where the layoffs are concentrated was not released, according to the article.

The company is first offering buyouts to employees with all of the cuts being made by Jan. 31, according to the article.
