LOVE LIBERTY CAMPAIGN KICKS OFF TO TAKE THE TRENCH ON THE ROAD

In January, at the State Thespian Festival, Liberty ITS students were awarded first place for their performance of The Trench.   As first place winners, Liberty is honored with taking the show to the National stage in Nebraska this June.  This trip costs approximately $1,200 per student.

Liberty Drama has launched the “Love Liberty Campaign”.  This fundraiser is designed to ‘pay it forward.’  We are extremely fortunate to have such a supportive community who we know will help us reach our goals so we can represent our school and our community at Nationals.  We want to pay our supporter’s kindness forward by passing on the same kindness to our teachers.

In appreciation for those who show their generosity in giving to help us reach our goal, we will pay it forward by working to win an Apple IPAD for a LHS teacher. 

Each drama student who is going to Nationals has chosen a LHS teacher as their ‘pay it forward’ recipient.  The student that raises the most money over $1,200 will be awarded the grand prize, an Apple IPAD, for their teacher.

The goal for our campaign is to raise $48,000 to completely cover the entire cost of our trip.

Students are reaching out to friends, family, residents and businesses in the community.  Those wishing to donate more than $10 at a time are welcome to do so. 

ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.  Tax receipts are available on our website.
