I just dropped off my "Tinker Bell" themed outfit for a young girl through the star program at my church where young children in need have their holiday wishes come true. There are many ways to give back this holiday season. One is through Toys for Tots. There is a drop-off location at the Eldersburg Self Storage where you can bring unwrapped toys for local children. 4. Mark Your Calendar For A Historic Colored School Open House

On Saturday, Dec. 10 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Historica Colored School House will offer special programs in honor of the holiday season, including crafts for children to create Victorian tree decorations, pinecone angels, snowflakes, and other simple homemade ornaments of yesteryear. 5. Today's Forecast

The National Weather Service calls for an 80 percent chance of rain with a high near 60 degrees. This evening, the rain is expected to continue with the temperature dropping to around 42 degrees.
