Easter Egg Hunts in Eldersburg
Where to go and what to do this weekend for Easter in Eldersburg and Sykesville.
The Easter EGGstravaganza - a 20,000-egg Easter egg hunt. Held each year from 11:30am to 2pm on the Saturday before Easter at Freedom Park, 935 Raincliff Road, in Sykesville. This year the event is on April 7, 2012. This is a FREE event, open to all children ages infant to 9. It includes a different egg hunt for four age groups, face painting, live music, moon bounce, and some awesome prizes. There are concessions for sale if you want something to eat. JACT Sports Complex in Eldersburg hosts their 1st annual Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Drop Competition on April 7 with activities beginning at 1 pm. and the egg hunts running from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
