1. Festival Applications Now Open

The Sykesville Art and Wine Festival applications are now online. The arts festival is juried and all artists must be juried in. The festival takes place Sunday, May 6. Stay tuned for new poster design by artist John Kachik on the Sykesville website here

4. Save the Date - Bicycle Trail Talk

A in the Freedom Area will be held Jan. 19 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the South Carroll Senior Center. Commissioner Doug Howard, District 5, will develop a list of desires and concerns related to the trail and form a citizen working group to work with the county and state agencies through the process.

5. Today's Forecast: Chance of Snow Showers

The National Weather Service calls for mostly cloudy skies with a high near 55 degrees this afternoon, changing to a 50 percent chance of snow showers tonight with a low of around 29 degrees.
