1. U.S. Secret Service Fraud Presentation

The South Carroll Business Connection Group is hosting a talk by the U.S. Secret Service on fraud. There will be several handouts available to further assist in preventing falling victim. The presentation is free. Find more information here. 

2. Board of Education Hearing

The Carroll County Board of Education is holding the Superintendent's FY13 operating budget hearing with citizen participation tonight at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Charles I. Ecker Boardroom at the Board of Education Offices.

3. Dog Training Classes

Sykesville dog trainer and Eldersburg Patch blogger Meghan Longhurst is offering rolling registration dog training classes in Westminster. For $150, you receive the standard 6 class package. Once you’re finished, you can come to class any time for a refresher or extra help for $30 per night. Find more information here. She is holding a class tonight at 7 p.m.
