3. Homeschool Program

The is holding a literature based science, social studies, math and language arts program based on the topic of submarines today at 2 p.m. The program is open to ages 7-10.

4. Learn About Your Lawn

The and Steve Allgeier of the University of Maryland, Carroll County Extension office are holding a research based turf care information seminar for adults at 7 p.m. The program will feature learning the art of lawn care while potentially saving money. 

5. Morning Bird Walk 

The  and Dave Harvey of the Carroll County Bird Club are holding at 8:30 a.m. to search for the many different types of songbirds, waterfowl, raptors and woodpeckers that inhabit the Park. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars and field guides.
