CNNMoney released its list of America's Best Small Towns in August, ranking Eldersburg no. 67 in the nation and no. 2 in the state. This is the third time Eldersburg has made the list.

8. TACTICC Surprises Eldersburg With Flash Mob

Local non-profit performing arts group TACTICC, made Eldersburg their stage in June, putting on a flash mob in front of Rita's and sending those in the area who missed the performance to the Internet to watch the spontaneous performance.
