Exploring Issues in Eldersburg: Traffic Light at Liberty Exchange

Is traffic a growing issue on Liberty Road?

A traffic light installed at the intersection of Liberty Road and Exchange Drive in Eldersburg was turned on in July but has not been functional.

The light is set as a flashing, yellow signal at an intersection that is becoming increasingly busier as businesses move into the new Liberty Exchange business community.

The new business park, located where the Freedom Golf Center was once, signed its first tenant, the Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland in February. The most recent opening is kid's party place Hopper's Kid Zone, which held its grand opening last weekend.
