The agenda includes: a Public Hearing for proposed amendment to Chapter 103-21 Development and Subdivision of land, agricultural land preservation districts, Web Presentation, Bid approval for the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System and Analytical Support Services, bid approval for replacement of structure CL394, execution of resolution declaring the County's official intent to reimburse FY12 Community Investment Plan expenditures with debt proceeds, review and approve the Medicaid Waiver for Older Adults FY2012 Grant Application and an update on the Police Transition.

2. The Tree of Life Theatre Group will hold the opening night of their production of The Wizard of Oz tonight at 7 p.m. Find more information about this special production .

4.  is recruiting volunteers to serve as the planning committee for its inaugural Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Mount Airy, a walk to benefit the organization's breast cancer programs for patients and caregivers, research, education and advocacy. The planning meeting takes place tonight at 6:30 p.m. and the walk will take place on October 9 at Watkins Park.

5. The forecast calls for sunny skies with a high near 83 degrees, according to The National Weather Service.
