Five Things You Need to Know Today: May 25

Read these five things to stay on top of local news and get you prepared for the day.

1. Carroll Community College will hold their commencement exercises at 3 p.m. today at McDaniel College in Westminster. Carroll County Commissioners Doug Howard, Haven Shoemaker, Richard Rothschild and Dave Roush will be in attendance. 

2. The Mount Airy Farmers Market is open today from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Produce varies depending on growing season weather conditions. Visit here for a list of produce available at the time. 

3. For the first day this week, no rain is in the forecast today and instead it will be mostly sunny, according to The National Weather Service

4. The  will host its last movie in their classic movie series tonight. Rebel Without a Cause (1955) will be shown at 1 p.m. 

5. Wacky Wednesday card making will be held at Photo Scraps today between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Various rubber stamping techniques are available for you to design your "wacky" card.
