Five Things You Need to Know Today: October 18

1. Ghost Walk

The Westminster Library is hosting a for ages 10 and up. The event will feature a ghost presentation and walk through Westminster to visit local ghosts and legends.

Lasting about an hour, the tour will visit the old Cockey's Tavern, a church cemetary and the old jail. The tour will go on rain or shine and only be cancelled in the case of thunder. Call the library at 410-386-4488 for more details and to register.

2. Town Meeting

The Carroll County School Board President Jennifer Seidel and Superintendent Stephen Guthrie are at tonight at 7 p.m. Parents and members of the Community are invited to attend and address concerns or ask questions regarding education topics and issues.

3. Parenting Workshops

are being held at Carroll Springs School with a session tonight at 6 p.m. Find more information on the sessions .
