My inbox was flooded yesterday with news, tips and comments on the rapper's arrest. He was arrested in Carroll County, Ga. on a felony marijuana charge after drugs and mulitple weapons were discovered in his rental car. He is best known for his hit song "crank that" and will face a judge this afternoon.

  • 7 a.m. Commissioner Roush attends the Carroll County Philanthropists of the Year Awards in Westminster.
  • 9:30 a.m. Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Executive Meeting in the County Office Building, Room 105. Commissioners Howard, Frazier and Roush will be in attendance.
  • 4:30 p.m.  Commissioner Rothschild will be interviewed by WTTR Carroll County Buzz Radio.

The is holding with Caroline Brocato tonight at 7 p.m. The class is open to ages 11 through adult and all skill levels. Participants are asked to bring a size J hook and yarn to the class.

The forecast calls for a 100 percent chance of showers with thunderstorms after 2 p.m. with a high near 64 degrees, according to The National Weather Service.
