Attention High School Students: Need community service hours? The Town of Sykesville is looking for volunteers to help the kids with pumpkin painting during this Sunday's Sykesville Apple Butter Market Festivals. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Email ivy@sykesville.net.

The Carroll County Toastmasters Club is hosting it's annual (aka "A License To Lie Contest") tonight at 7 p.m. where contestants will take great liberties telling stories about actual or fictitious events. The public is invited to attend this free event.
