Get Ready to "Fall Back" on Sunday, Daylight Saving Time Coming to An End

Clocks should be changed to standard time on Sunday, Nov. 6.

We will officially "fall back" to standard time on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 2 a.m., so be sure to set your clocks an hour back before going to bed.

The Sykesville Freedom District Fire Department reminds everyone that the time change is the perfect opportunity to check your smoke alarms.

"Use the extra hour to make a life saving change in your household by changing and testing the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors and remind your friends, family and neighbors to do the same," read a post by firefighter Christine Flanagan on Sykesville Fire Department website.
