Grab and Go Kids Planner: Liberty Idol, Pancake Breakfast and more

Fun things to do around town with your family this weekend.

Welcome to this weeks edition of Patch's Grab and Go. This is where you will find kid-friendly events to add to your families calendar for this weekend. 

1.

Where/when: Liberty High School, Sykesville, Saturday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why go: Celebrate the third annual Spring craft fair with activities including live music, entertainment, crafts, family fun, food and more. Something for everyone and proceeds go to support the instrumental music program.

Pricing: $3 admission, free ages 5 and under.

2.

Where/when: Calvary United Methodist Church, Mount Airy, Saturday, March 26 from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Why go: Enjoy an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast complete with pancakes, eggs, sausage and beverages while supporting the Kiwanis Club. Canned or boxed food items for the Mount Airy Food Pantry can be donated.

Pricing: $6 adults, $3 children ages 6-12, Free ages 5 and under.

Where/when: Liberty High School, Sykesville, Saturday, March 26 at 7 p.m.

Why go: Join in the fun as the Liberty High School Drama Club hosts their first Liberty Idol Competition. The contest will feature ten contestants performing for the title of Liberty Idol.

Pricing: $10 adults at the door, $7 advance ticket purchase, $8 students at the door.

Where/when: Century High School, Sykesville, Sunday, March 27 at 2 p.m.

Why go: Enjoy The Shakespeare Factory's presentation of the classic "The Winter's Tale" with your family. Their will be an educational workshop and a pre-show prior to show time.

Pricing: $8 all seats

5.

Where/when: Century High School, Sykesville, Saturday, March 26 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Why go: Bid on silent auction items made by Century High School students including painted frames, chairs, trays and more. Proceeds will be used for two art scholarships to be given to students. Free refreshments will be available.
