Heavy Snow and Sleet Expected Overnight
Winter storm warning in effect from 7 p.m. tonight.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning from 7 p.m. on Monday until 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
Heavy snow and sleet is expected at times. Up to 8 inches possible according to NOAA.

Monday night: "Rain and sleet this evening followed by late-night snow of varying rates, accumulating 3 to 6 inches."
Tuesday: "Colder with clouds breaking for some sun."
Monday night: "Rain and sleet before 8pm, then snow and sleet between 8pm and 10pm, then snow after 10pm. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 24. Northeast wind between 14 and 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible."
Tuesday: "Snow before 7am. High near 31. North wind between 9 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible."

Foot's Forecast (updated 2/21, 12:30 p.m.): "A Winter Storm Warning has just been issued for northern portions of the region for tonight, with a Winter Weather Advisory for the remainder of the area.
"Light rain this evening will changeover to snow tonight. We still expect 3 to 6 inches of snow tonight for most areas, with slightly higher amounts possible near the Mason Dixon line and lower amounts for southern Anne Arundel County.
Snow will exit the region between 6 to 9 a.m. tomorrow, with highs only reaching the mid 30s."
