License Hearings, Board of Education Meeting and More: Five Things Dec. 14

1. Board of License Commissioner Meeting

The Board of License Commissioners will hold public hearings in the County Office Building at 10 a.m. today. There are two liquor license hearings on the agenda including a request for Habib’s Kabob on Liberty Road in Eldersburg. Find more information .

2. Board of Education Meeting

The Board of Education of Carroll County will hold a combined regular and administrative meeting tonight at 5 p.m. at the Board of Education offices. There will be time for citizen participation at this meeting. Find more information .

3. "Beading Into the Season"

The is hosting a "" program for ages 14 through adult. Participants will make a bracelet in winter colors using rubber stamps and metallic powder. Supplies will be provided.

4. Save the Date for Next Year's "I Remember That" Series

Meet your neighbors and friends and learn some Sykesville history during the "I Rememer That" series. The program covers historic sites in the area accompanied by a talk about the history of the buildings. The programs run from 10 a.m. to noon. Find more information here.
