Local Band 'Left Stronger' Takes the Stage at Rams Head Live

Almost a year after the premier of their first album "So Close" at Rams Head Live in Baltimore, Left Stronger returns to center stage Friday.

Jesse Magee’s dream came true last year when his band Left Stronger took center stage at Rams Head Live-- one of the most popular venues in Maryland for the release of their first CD "So Close."

Now, almost a year after their album’s premier, the rock band is back, playing a 40-minute set on Friday night at Rams Head Live in Baltimore.

“I’m thrilled and can’t wait to get back on that stage,” said Magee, the band’s lead singer. “It’s one of the best places to play in the area and to play on stage where some of my favorite bands like Alice in Chains have played before is just unbelievable.”

Magee, 25, is not your average rock star. The name of his rock band reflects the cerebral palsy that affects the right side of his body and left him legally blind.

But this hasn't stopped him from forming Left Stronger, recording and producing his first album and performing more than 30 shows, including Rams Head Live now twice, in just over a year.

And recently, he added a new accomplishment to the books. A track from Left Stronger's first album was chosen as the theme song for a new reality television show, "Good Fellas."

“It’s really a big honor all-around. I’m really looking forward to it,” said Magee.

Left Stronger opens for Eye of All and Rosabella and goes on stage around 9 p.m. Friday. For more information and to buy tickets, visit page for the event here.
