Patch Picks: Local Summer Camps

1. ABC Care Eldersburg Explorer and Adventure Camp (Sykesville)

Eldersburg Explorer and Adventure Camp includes bike and scooter days, dress-up days, water play, cook outs and theme parties for 4th through 7th graders. Activities include a time for reading and journaling, encouraging literacy activities all summer. Eldersburg Adventure Camp is open June 27 through August 26.

2. Full Moon Farm Summer Camp (Finksburg)

Kids can enjoy horseback riding at this camp where children ages 7 through 14 ride everyday with one of the Full Moon instructors, enjoying games on and off horseback, horse related arts and crafts, educational horse related activities and more.

3. Sunshine Kids Club Camp

The Sunshine Kids’ Club offers an informal outdoor environment for kids ages 4 through 14 to learn new skills in athletics, confidence building, social interaction, sportsmanship and more.

4. Merritt Athletic Club Camps (Eldersburg)

Merritt Athletic Club in Eldersburg offers several camps for kids to learn and explore new skills. Camp offerings include Karate Kid Camp, Wee Sports, Splash and Swim, Michael Phelps Swim Camp, Junior Lifeguard Camp, American Girl Doll Camp and more.

5. TACTICC Summer Camps (Eldersburg)

TACTICC holds Eldersburg’s first ever theatre camp created by Executive Director Tony Cimino. Sumer camp offerings include Jungle Book, Show Choir Camp, Glee Kids Camp, Film and Acting Camp and Teen Musical Intensive Summer Camp.
