Keep an eye on the skies Tuesday, as forecasters are warning of more severe weather in the area.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected across Maryland, including Howard and Carroll counties.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 8 p.m.
The cause, according to the National Weather Service, is a slow-moving cold front pushing through the area.
"Some storms will become severe and will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and possibly large hail," the service cautions.
A high of 96° is expected this afternoon.
