"Expect moderate rain for much of the day Wednesday. Temperatures will slowly fall by the early afternoon hours, with temperatures only around 40° by mid evening. By the late evening hours, we expect rain to mix with and changeover to snow for areas north and west of I-95. For Baltimore City and areas farther to the south and east, rain should have a tough time changing over to snow, and may only do so for a brief time late at night.

ACCUMULATIONS: Storm total liquid precipitation will be around 2 inches, with about 1-2 inches of rain expected. As for snow accumulations, at this time we are forecasting a general coating to one inch of snow, with slightly higher amounts expected for the far northern and western suburbs. We will continue to monitor computer models for any changes that may occur."
