Stray Dog in Sykesville Bites One Person, Still on the Loose
Carroll County Health Department asking for help in locating the dog.
The Carroll County Health Department is asking area residents for help in finding a dog that bit a person on Carnies Lane in Sykesville on March 28.
The dog was described as an adult lab/golden retriever mix wearing a collar. After biting the victim, the dog ran off in the direction of Gaither Road.
According to the Carroll County Health Department, it is likely the victim of the attack will be treated for rabies however, if the dog is located, the treatment may be discontinued.
