1. Sykesville Military Memorial Update

A meeting on the is being held at the Town House tonight at 6 p.m. The agenda will include finalizing the landscaping for the memorial and the meeting is open to the public.

2. "College 101" for Southern Carroll County

School counselors from , , and high schools will host "College 101" tonight at 6 p.m. at . The event is designed for parents of students at the three high schools, as well as parents of 8th grade students who will be attending these schools. Session topics will include financial aid and planning, college admissions, PSAT, SAT, and ACT, AP coursework and college readiness, becoming an NCAA athlete, preparing for college and four year planning for college success, study skills, and high school completer programs.
